REFLEXIONES ACERCA DEL DIA DE LA MUJER

No es lo mismo Margaret Tatcher que Rosa Luxemburgo, tampoco Tania que Golda Meyer. Tampoco son lo mismo las mujeres que ponen el pecho en Palestina que las soldados israelíes que las masacran. Ni las madres en Irak que las aviadoras norteamericanas que lanzan bombas sobre Bagdad.

Este día no es para todas, es para las que luchan. No es para celebrar el éxito de las que explotan e igualarlas con el sudor de las explotadas. Tampoco para pretender convertir al varón en enemigo natural en lugar de compañero de victorias.

Ni perfectas aunque las idealicemos. Tan humanas como los demás pero con ese brillo que nos ilumina la noche más oscura. Flor o cañón de guerra cuando lo decidan. Con nada que celebrar más que un día donde los reflectores la ponen en vitrina contra un sistema que deshumaniza y canibaliza.

Ni conmemoración ni felicidades. El futuro se hace a mano, sin permiso y entre todos los que están del lado correcto de la historia. Sin frases cliché, sin hipócritas poses, sin doble moral.

Margaret Tatcher is not the same as Rosa Luxemburg, nor is Tania Golda Meyer. Nor are the women who put the breast in Palestine the same as the Israeli soldiers who massacre them. Not the mothers in Iraq, the American aviators who throw bombs on Baghdad.

This day is not for everyone, it is for those who fight. It is not to celebrate the success of those who exploit and equalize with the sweat of the exploited. Neither to pretend to make the man a natural enemy instead of a companion of victories.

Nor perfect even if we idealize them. As human as the others but with that brightness that illuminates us the darkest night. Flower or war cannon when they decide. With nothing to celebrate more than a day where the reflectors put it in showcase against a system that dehumanizes and cannibalizes.

Neither commemoration nor congratulations. The future is made by hand, without permission and among all those on the right side of the story. Without cliché phrases, without hypocritical poses, without double standards.
