CRÓNICA DE UN SUICIDIO ANUNCIADO.

Desde hace tiempo, algunos periodistas de ciertos medios de
comunicación, vienen propalando noticias respecto que ante la ausencia de Paolo
Guerrero, se debe convocar a Claudio Pizarro. Claramente se ve que existen
presiones de todo tipo, para con Gareca. Al parecer oscuros intereses estarían
primando.
Doña Peta ha denunciado, el asunto, con nombre propio: «Él y su papá
paran metidos en la Federación. Aquí hubo un complot». Por otro lado, no es casual
que el mismo Claudio Pizarro en sus cuentas de los medios de internet, difunda
mensajes auto-alentándose el mismo de que será convocado, a nuestra selección.
Es cierto que la voz de pueblo, es la voz de Dios. Para nadie es
desconocido que el pueblo peruano apoya definitivamente a Paolo Guerrero
Gonzáles. Pero surge una interrogante: ¿Hasta qué punto puede, tener peso y ser
tomada en cuenta la opinión pública, respecto a que no se convoque a Claudio
Pizarro? y ¿Cuánta «presión», podrá resistir el Director Técnico de nuestra
selección y finalmente no convoque a Claudio Pizarro? Y que al final pueda mantenerse
firme en no convocar a Claudio Pizarro, definitivamente.
Poco a poco se van
desinflando la gran cantidad de «futborólogos», que defendían a ultranza la
presencia de Claudio Pizarro en nuestra Selección. Es conveniente puntualizar
aquí, que es obligatorio, mantenernos donde estemos pisando tierra. Hay que
dejar de presionar al verdadero responsable de nuestra Selección de mayores, Ricardo
Alberto Gareca Nardi. ¿Dónde estuvieron –esos opinólogos-, cuando estábamos en
el fondo de la tabla de las eliminatorias? ¿Deberíamos revisar sus crónicas en
ese tiempo, para saber si eran incendiarios o bomberos o sesudos cronistas? Probablemente,
hoy en día, no se rasgan, se destrozan las vestiduras, reclamando la presencia
de Claudio Pizarro. Leemos escuchamos, absurdos planteamientos, por defender lo
indefendible. Un hombre de 40 años nunca por nunca va a rendir físicamente como
una de las fieras de entre 23 y 28 años, que van a enfrentar nuestro
seleccionados. Por algo, esta competencia –porque es una competencia-, se llama
MUNDIAL DE FÚTBOL y cada país está llevando lo mejor de la vitrina, que posee,
en cuanto a futbolistas se refiere. Si no echemos un ojo a las selecciones de
todo el mundo. En estas circunstancias, me pregunto: ¿Cuál
de las, selecciones que van a participar en el mundial de Rusia 2018, está llevando
un delantero de 4 décadas de edad? Estoy seguro que ningún país se va a
arriesgar, a hacer tal ridículo ¿Existirá un país que llegue al extremo de
llevar, a este mundial, a un futbolista en el ocaso de su vida, para que lo
represente, compita y salga triunfante frente a jóvenes llenos de vida, con
ansias de demostrar toda su valía? Y es que los jóvenes saben que si demuestran
su vigencia, su supremacía, podrán emigrar a clubes de renombre; por lo tanto
alcanzarán enormes réditos económicos, que redundará en beneficios para ellos y
sus familias. Todos, porque hicieron tremendos esfuerzos y se lo tienen muy
bien merecido. También, creo, que todos son conscientes, que esta carrera del
deporte es bastante corta, más aún si no se camina en el camino correcto.
Es
bueno puntualizar que Gareca utilizando un lenguaje «diplomático» no precisa
con exactitud la exclusión de Claudio Pizarro «Debemos tener en cuenta la
edad, la continuidad –aquí pareciera que estaría definiendo-. La selección
en el mundial necesita de jugadores que sean titulares y que soporten 90
minutos, si nos va, bien 120, y no solo
30 o 35 –aquí también pareciera que estuviera definiendo-. También
contemplen que hay un gusto futbolístico del técnico» -eso es cierto, pero
a la vez me hace pensar que existiera una determinada presión-. Hay que esperar
que la exclusión de Claudio Pizarro se concretice, de todas maneras, al
publicar la lista definitiva, final.
Sin
embargo, es urgente puntualizar que debemos aprender de nuestra historia. Algo
similar sucedió en 1982. Dejemos que los verdaderos responsables cumplan
cabalmente su tarea. No creo que Gareca, se deje presionar ni que se preste a
realizar tamaños juegos sucios y de intereses mezquinos de que un jugador que
ya cumplió su ciclo y que él mismo lo reconoce, lo único que
le falta es jugar en un mundial. Calma pueblo peruano: NO EMPUJEMOS A
